The More Is Made By The Many campaign expands on the potential of every being by combining perspectives of each guest and we would like to celebrate leaders that have opened doors and built bridges for their respective communities.

At a long white linen table with a center-piece sculpted from found objects and artifacts, the easy sophistication of black creativity, the soulful color of many cultural differences, and the savory tastes of original cuisine cross-pollinate to grow The Ecotone of Story Salon curated by Anthropologist and Artist Marlon Hall. Eco from the Greek “dwelling place” and tonos from “tension,” the Ecotone is a shared habitation that grows in the tension between one way of life and another.

At dusk, a heart-picked guest list of people who are diverse in gender and ethnic story will join a whimsical dinner journey designed to Separate stories, lives, and cultures become one life, story and history on a night designed to explore the “ecotone” of our differences. The choreography of curated conversation rituals, laughter, originally arranged music, and fine dining will respond to the questions: How can our human differences make a difference in human flourishing? What can we grow in the “ecotone” of our cultures that we can’t grow in insolation?
